CleanAir Pressure FlowMaster
CleanAir Pressure FlowMaster
The FlowMaster is CleanAIR's compressed-air conditioning unit — a compact belt-mounted regulator that accepts workshop compressed air and delivers filtered breathing-grade air to a compatible head-top. The supplied-air alternative to belt PAPR for workers who need sustained respiratory protection in a fixed-location (hose-tethered) work area.
When FlowMaster is the right choice
- Abrasive blasting booths — sustained high-flow, no battery concerns.
- Paint spray booths — fixed-location work with available compressed air.
- Pharmaceutical powder work — clean fixed-location processing areas.
- Confined space with hose tether — where air-line system is safer than battery PAPR.
Key features
- Airflow regulation — delivers consistent airflow to the head-top regardless of supply pressure fluctuation.
- Pressure alarm — audible alarm on low supply pressure.
- Head-top compatibility — works with CleanAir helmets, hoods, and faceshields via standard connection.
- Belt-mounted — lower worker weight than back-mounted SCBA.
Air supply requirements
The FlowMaster requires breathing-grade compressed air — typically via a dedicated pressure conditioner (see our Pressure Conditioner range). Standard workshop air cannot be connected directly without conditioning and air-quality verification.
Standards & compliance
Certified to AS/NZS 1716. Supplied air must meet AS/NZS 1715 breathing-air requirements — quarterly air-quality testing is mandatory.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the FlowMaster with standard shop-air quick couplers?
No — breathing-air systems use a separate connector system (typically 1/4 turn bayonet or thread-specific to breathing air) to prevent accidental connection to non-breathing-air sources. Never convert breathing air fittings to shop fittings.
How does the FlowMaster compare to PAPR?
PAPR is self-contained (battery + filter); FlowMaster is tethered to a compressed-air supply. Choose FlowMaster for fixed-location sustained high-flow work; choose PAPR for mobile or remote work.
Do you offer trade or bulk pricing?
