The CleanAir Chemical 3F extends the 2F platform with three-filter intake, giving higher effective airflow capacity and longer filter service life — the right choice for extended-shift chemical work, heavy workload applications, and any situation where filter change-outs are operationally disruptive.

When 3F is worth the upgrade

• Heavy work applications — welding in confined spaces, hot-climate spraying, high-exertion tasks where breathing volume is elevated.
• Extended shifts — three filters last longer than two before saturation-driven replacement.
• High contamination levels — where filter saturation would otherwise happen mid-shift.
• Redundancy — some applications prefer triple-filter redundancy for safety margin.

Filter options

Airflow and duration

Higher airflow than the 2F at up to 210 L/min, with equivalent or longer battery life due to lower breathing resistance. Low-flow and low-battery alarms integrated.

Standards & compliance

Certified to AS/NZS 1716. RPF rating depends on the head-top — up to RPF 100 with tight-fitting full-face or RPF 50 with loose-fitting hood. Follow AS/NZS 1715 for selection.

Should I buy the 2F or 3F?

For most chemical applications, 2F is sufficient and more economical. Step up to 3F when breathing resistance is a concern (heavy work, hot conditions), when filter change-outs are operationally disruptive, or when the workload demands sustained high airflow.

Are the 2F and 3F interchangeable in terms of accessories?

Hoses, hoods, helmets, and most filter cartridges are interchangeable. Belt harnesses and the battery pack are specific to each model.
