This A2B2 P3 combined filter with RD40x1/7” (DIN) thread is designed for demanding Australian construction, mining and manufacturing environments where workers may be exposed to mixed hazards. The filter combines gas/vapour protection (A2B2) with high-efficiency particulate filtration (P3) to help reduce risk from organic vapours (boiling point >65°C), inorganic gases/vapours, and airborne particulates including dust, smoke, fibres and liquid/solid aerosols.
Built for industrial durability, the ABS housing helps withstand tough site handling, while the activated charcoal and microfibre glass media deliver reliable filtration performance. The RD40x1/7” connection (EN 148-1) provides secure, standardised fitment to compatible DIN-thread respirators and powered/air-supplied systems, supporting fast changeovers and reduced downtime—important for productivity and cost control across shift work.
Compliance to recognised international standards supports site safety programs and procurement requirements. The filter is rated A2B2P3 D R under EN 14387, and also meets TH3/TM3 requirements when used as part of compliant powered or supplied-air respiratory systems (EN 12941/EN 12942). Operating performance is specified across typical worksite conditions, making it suitable for hot, humid and variable environments common in Australian heavy industry.
Note: Always complete a task-based risk assessment and ensure respirator compatibility, correct fit, and change-out schedules based on exposure levels and site policy.
