The A2 P3 combined filter with RD40x1/7″ (DIN) thread is a heavy-duty respiratory filter designed for demanding Australian worksites where both organic vapours and airborne particulates are present. Suitable for construction, mining, and manufacturing environments, it provides A2 protection against organic gases and vapours with boiling points above 65°C (e.g. petrol, kerosene, toluene, styrene and similar solvents), plus P3 particulate filtration for solid and liquid aerosols such as dust, smoke, fibres and fine mists.
Built on an RD40x1/7″ connection (in accordance with EN 148-1), this filter is compatible with a wide range of DIN-thread full-face respirators and powered/assisted respiratory systems that accept RD40. The low breathing resistance targets better wearer comfort across long shifts, supporting productivity and compliance in high-exposure tasks like surface preparation, blasting support, paint/solvent handling, composite work, and maintenance shut-downs.
Engineered with a durable ABS filter housing and a combined filtration system using microfiber glass media plus activated charcoal, it is designed to perform in variable site conditions. Operating conditions are rated from 0°C to +60°C and 20–95% RH, supporting use across typical indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
Compliance is aligned to recognised international respiratory protection standards (EN 14387, EN 12941, EN 12942). This supports robust safety management and procurement requirements for Australian businesses seeking consistent, auditable respiratory PPE performance.
