Engineered for demanding Australian construction, mining and manufacturing environments, the Verus welding helmet with integrated air distribution delivers dependable face/eye protection plus compatibility with powered air and supplied-air respiratory systems. It is designed to shield against harmful visible light, UV and IR radiation, as well as hot sparks and spatter generated during arc welding and cutting tasks—helping reduce downtime from eye strain and improving weld consistency across shifts.
The auto-darkening filter (ADF) provides a wide variable shade range (DIN 5–8 / 9–14) with a light state of DIN 3, making it suitable for MIG/MAG, SMAW (stick), TIG, plasma arc welding/cutting, carbon arc gouging, and gas welding/cutting (not suitable for laser welding). With 4 arc sensors and an ultra-fast switching time of 0.00015 seconds (light to dark at 23°C), operators get rapid protection and clearer visibility at ignition—supporting productivity and reducing rework risk.
For comfort and cost efficiency, the helmet includes true-colour viewing, internal controls for shade/sensitivity/delay, and an external grind mode (DIN 3) to streamline changeovers. Power is supplied via solar cells with a replaceable CR2450 lithium battery, with automatic on/off to help extend service life. A QuickLOCK™ hose connection enables fast, secure integration with compatible respiratory equipment to support controlled airflow distribution and improved thermal comfort in hot work areas.
