This combined A1B1E1K1P3 filter is engineered for demanding Australian construction, mining, and manufacturing environments where mixed gas/vapour hazards and particulate exposure can occur together. Featuring an RD40x1/7” (EN 148-1) connection, it integrates a multi-gas activated carbon stage with a high-efficiency particulate stage to support reliable respiratory protection across a broad range of tasks and sites.
The A1 rating targets organic gases and vapours with boiling points above 65°C (e.g. fuels, solvents and hydrocarbons). B1 covers inorganic gases and vapours (e.g. chlorine and hydrogen sulphide). E1 protects against acid gases and vapours, while K1 addresses ammonia and organic amines. The P3 particulate class is suitable for solid and liquid aerosols such as dust, smoke, fibres and mists, helping reduce exposure during cutting, blasting prep, maintenance shutdowns, chemical handling and process work.
Designed for powered air purifying respirators and compatible negative-pressure configurations within the stated standards, the filter demonstrates low breathing resistance to support comfort and productivity over long shifts. Robust ABS housing and glass microfibre filtration media are built for industrial use, while tested performance exceeds key minimum requirements in multiple challenge gases and aerosol penetration results. Also tested for ozone protection up to 20 mg/m³ (10 ppm), supporting higher-risk applications where ozone may be present.
For best practice, select filters based on your site risk assessment and replace in line with exposure, odour breakthrough guidance, and maintenance procedures.
