ABEK1 Chemical Cartridge (1 Pair)

ABEK1 chemical cartridges provide reliable, workplace-ready respiratory protection for personnel exposed to multiple gas and vapour hazards across construction, mining, processing and manufacturing environments. Designed with a low-profile twin filter format and a bayonet connector, each cartridge locks on securely to compatible half-face and full-face respirators to help maintain a dependable seal and reduce the risk of leakage in demanding conditions.

Rated ABEK1, these cartridges are suitable for a broad range of gases and vapours including organic vapours with boiling point >65°C, acid gases, ammonia/methylamine and other specified industrial contaminants. The lightweight polypropylene construction (no metal parts) supports comfort and helps reduce user fatigue during longer wear times, while the streamlined, low breathing resistance design assists productivity by making respirator use more tolerable over extended shifts.

For mixed hazards where particulates are also present (e.g., dusts generated during chemical handling, maintenance shutdowns, washdowns or confined space work), fit an appropriate particulate prefilter to the front of the cartridge (refer to compatible prefilter codes used with this platform). Cartridges are supplied as one pair for immediate change-out, enabling cost-effective maintenance scheduling and minimising downtime.
